At the heart of the project was the clear objective to deliver a sustainable office environment, which reflects the bank’s working style, built on sound principles of only specifying materials and products with clear sustainability provenance and design integrity. The design solution captures the essence of the business. The reception space is individual and welcoming, with an eclectic mix of furniture. It also acts as a showcase, displaying items that represent Triodos’ client community. A living wall brings the “outdoors in” and subtly connects to the environment. Co-worker engagement is evident throughout the space, from the hand-woven, recycled material in the “T-shirt chair” to hand-made cushions in the lounge area.
